A fast lap with David Coulthard

The main straight is slightly downhill, and there's a bit of a blump into the braking area, which makes it a little bit difficult into the first corner. It's a second gear and it is actually quite a tricky corner, because it's got quite a fast entry, and then it tightens as it gets later in the corner. So you have to be a bit patient.
You come out of there hard on the power through a fourth gear right handed kink (Turn 2), which is fast, and get the car positioned for heavy braking down into a long, left hand hairpin, again taken in second gear (Turn 3). It's quite important to get a good exit from there. It's up through second, third, fourth, and then you go through a fast left/right section, which is a fun little corner (Turns 4 and 5).
You come out of there and pretty much straight away you have to brake and turn in early to the long righthander (Turn 6)that takes you onto the back straight. It's very narrow and very dusty off line. That would be third gear and it's very tight on the exit.
You blast out of there, all the way down the main straight, up to sixth gear. It's a bit bumpy as you get to the entry to the next corner (Turn 7). It's a very fast righthander, quite a nice corner. Then it's heavy on the brakes and down to second gear for a very tight hairpin (Turn 8). You scrabble your way through there, because there's not much grip, go up through third gear and then through a little left/right chicane, where you can really use the kerbs (Turns 9/10). It actually feels like you're driving on a kart track, it's so tight!
Then you go through two lefthanders (Turn 11 and Turn 12). The two are very similar, just short bursts up in second gear, and then as you come out of the second one you accelerate down to a very, very tight chicane (Turns 13/14), which almost switches back on itself.
You go through there in second gear again, and it's difficult to get the power down because it's a bit bumpy on the exit of the right hand part. Then you accelerate all the way down to the last hairpin (Turn 16), which is again taken in second gear, heavy on the brakes. It's a very tight corner, and you struggle for traction coming out.
The kink before the pits (Turn 17) is difficult in the wet. You come over a small rise, and it's a little bit bumpy as well. It is very slippery.
