The
Italian team is the base challenger for both 2001 Drivers and
Manufacturers titles. Keeping their winning employee stuff they're
gonna be even stronger then in 2000.
Another
leader of F1 that has kept all his key persons. They had only one
task for 2001 - to make restitution of both titles. With two times
World Champion Mika Hakkinen and still hunting for a crown David
Coulthard they really can make it.
Flavio
Briatore starting another crusade for a title. He's got everything
he needs - Renault engines and technical support, young and
talented driver - Jenson Button and strong constructor's team with
Mike Gaskaoyne and Sam Michael in the head.
The
process of formation of the BAR team is delaying and Jaques
Villeneuve's patience is coming to it's end. If BAR wouldn't
became a race winner this season, Craig Pollock will lose 1997
World Champion and his President's chair.
Eddie
Jordan and all his team are burning to prove that last season's
failure is just an annoying misfortune. But the abilities of the
Irish team to make it are raising the doubts - in 2000 team has
lost almost all their technical specialists.
Tom
Walkinshaw again trying to save his team from financial crisis.
Almost all his base partners are expiriencing problems and Enrique
Bernoldi's invitation to the team is just an attempt to engage Red
Bull.
Seems
that Peter Sauber beginning a reconstruction of the team. And two
young drivers is a first step in this direction. After the finish
of the season Sauber will lose the Red Bull's support and Peter
will have to find out new resources for his team.
The
Ford's plan to move out Jaguar label into Formula 1 has failed.
The team's first season in sport has become very dissapointing.
This season they had to make all possible to bring themself back
to the top.
Minardi
has survived yet again. This time thanks to the Australian
businessman Paul Stoddard. No doubts - this season they won't
pretend on anything big. But they have to start from something.
Alain
Prost's team still cannot became a leader. And this is a reason of
the team's hard financial situation. Maybe this season will became
a brake through to the top. Anyway winter test's has showed a
perfect performance of the new car.
