Brazilian and San Marino Grand Prix.

Bernie's absolutism is not likable to many people for a long time. And first of all - to Formula 1 teams. Whether a consortium of the auto manufacturers will manage to promote his races up to the same level as today's Formula... Ecclestone is still very talented organizer and generator of ideas! The only question is how great is the team's determination to separate from Formula 1, or it's just a some kind of a trick to gain a piece of a pie.

Now it is possible say with confidence that
McLaren is alive. Though he's not so is strong as the last
years. This year's car is not as successful construction, as the previous
one's, for already in Imola
Mika Hakkinen has used completely new
chassis, constructed considering an experience of the first races of a
season. The team constantly works on engineering and that is reflected in
results. About this speaks the first row of a starting grid in a silver-black
colours. David Coulthard undoubtedly desires to prove that there's no
sense to consider him as a second |
number in McLaren. Though people talk that his rises are coinciding with the failures of his Finnish partner in a mystical way. Let's hope that David has reserve enough amulets frighten off malicious forces. Mika Hakkinen's problems seem to have a psychological character. The McLaren's chief Ron Dennis approves that only one victory is necessary for Mika to restore his normal conditions. And though San Marino race McLaren have lost, it's clear that the team is on the way that leads to victories.
Montoya once again.

lose position, rather than how to improve it. Montoya is a man with different mentality, such thoughts are alien for him. Trulli tried to protect his position, but when he decided to do it that was too late. Maybe if on Jarno's place there was somebody less compliant, for example Michael Schumacher, Montoya would left with nothing. But what - Schumacher? Once he already was the Columbian's victim! So we need to wait, when he will begin to finish at last!

The first victory in career always was considered as advance payment which is given out to the perspective
driver. However, now a footstep to the highest floor of a podium became such
abrupt, that to step over it, it is just not necessary to be simply talented
rookie.
Ralf Schumacher has deserved a
victory. Firstly he has remembered only by unfairly sharp style of
driving. Remember start of 1998 season, when he couldn't drive 5 laps in first four races! When he switched to
Williams, he considered only as a second number. However he has become the basic force of a
team. For two years he has completely reserved the style.

a roughneck he has became assembled, aggressive and extremely reliable driver. And already in last season it became clear, that with BMW arrival he will struggle for victories one day. And now this day has come!
