Frentzen Vs. Ferrari.

Between Australian and Malaysian Grand Prix Heinz Harald Frentzen had an imprudence to "drive" on Ferrari. He has declared that Italian team uses a system that "stifle" the engine on the exit of the corners and allows to control an acceleration more precisely and to avoid skidding of the rear wheels. Thus, they achieving the effect of the forbidden traction control system. All this conclusions he supported with his own impressions of driving behind Nick Heidfeld's Sauber - he just could not be kept close to him on the exit of the corners though his engine has clearly "sneezed". And right after that he has exactly understood that trying to suspect Ferrari is something like a greatest sin as has received numerous answers on his speeches. But Michael Schumacher has eclipsed all Ha-Ha's opponents. He has advised Frentzen to be engaged in his own results and not ask for troubles! The second man who has shown the symptoms of an equatorial infection was Jaques Villeneuve. Canadian has kept the silence about a crash with Ralf Schuamcher on the Australian Grand Prix that has took away marshall's life. And suddenly he has burst with a rebuff to German. He has said that Ralf had a problems with his tyres and he had start braking 30 meters earlier than usually and he has occupied the middle of a line and poor Jaques has nowhere to drive than into Schuamcher's back. That is, if to follow Villenueve's logic, Ralf had to stop on the trackside, get out of the car and stood there with the placard - "I has a problems with my tyres and you can overtake me completely for free!". Well, maybe, but I have a question - how should I defend my position in a correct way? You see, Formula 1 is still a sports, and the aim is to win and not to accurately drive on your line. Qualifying.

What a qualifying was there!!! Many F1 fan's hearts were dancing wildly at that moment. But seemed that Michael will kill all interest to the event already in his first attempt: 2 tenth advantages above Rubens Barrichello's time on Intermadiate 1, 7 tenths on second and� Mistake in the Peneng corner has spoiled all his efforts. After that has worked an old football rule: if you not scoring then someone scoring to you. And Barrichello and after that Ralf Schumacher confidently block the Champion's time. Perharps for the first time we saw Ralf Schumacher seriously battling for the first position. What is going on in McLaren? This is a question of perhaps every fan, irrespective of his team belonging. Because that's not simply a question of a certain team well-being, but a question of keeping of interest to the Championship at all. Because Ferrari wins already sixth race in line. Whether "silver" can find a power to attack Schumacher and Co? The race in Malaysia hasn't given an answer to this question. David Coulthard was looking extremely inert all the week-end. Williams' progress.

BMW Williams team was looking superb on Malaysian Grand Prix. Ralf Schumacher was the one who could make a competition to Ferrari drivers in qualifying. Juan Pablo Montoya has drove the qualifying very strongly too, taking a 6th position on a starting grid. In a race Colombian has retired, having spun out in the rain in the spare car. Ralf, despite of a spun in the first corner, has drove simply magnificent race. If to list all drivers, who has been overtaken by him, then outside of this list there will be only two Ferrari's. Such a success probably is caused by the Michelin tyres. The French firm's task for a present season is rather simple: to collect the experience and, whenever possible, to act as strong as possible. But look who uses Michelin tyres this season - Williams, Benetton, Prost, Minardi, Jaguar. The only team that is really able to fight for a points from this company is Williams. And seems that Michelin now bets on Franck Williams' team, just like Bridgestone has bet on Prost in 1997. So this year the english-french-german alliance will surprise us not once again.
